The set of technical documents within the Aerosol_cci project has been completed.
This includes the algorithm descriptions, the input/output descriptions, the detailed processing model description and the overall system prototype description. These documents can be downloaded from the deliverable section of the documents.
One further revision is scheduled for this summer.
The ninth progress meetign will be held at ECMWF - the primary potential user of Aerosol_cci level2 data for assimilation into their atmospheric composition system (GMES MACC). At this stage the ECV products for 1 year will be available together with their initial valdiation, so that their use can be concretely discussed.
The second annual progress meeting will take place at ESA-ESRIN on 26+27 July 2012.
Major progress in period 2 was to complete the round robin datasets production and their evaluation together with a set of system engineering and (future oeprational) system specification documents.
The annual review will summarize and assess the rpogress made in the second year and take the outlook to the third year.
